Spot the difference. One of these pictures shows a president exerting power by invading personal space, possibly to persuade a trusted friend to take the Supreme Court position he has been offered but does not wish to accept. The other shows a president exerting neither power nor influence nor even charisma by invading personal space in what appears to be a frosty exchange with the Governor of Arizona, possibly because he has talked about a legal challenge to her immigration laws.
What is it with Obama and Lyndon Johnson? Absolutely nothing in common whatsoever, yet these little visual similarities keep happening. I will keep you posted on any others I find.
